This leading UK specialist in natural stone is looking for an ambitious professional, hungry to succeed in both career progression as well as financial reward. This luxury stone brand focuses on quality craftsmanship and design expertise. An opportunity has now arisen to lead their new London showroom.
This is the ideal role for a self-starter with proven sales experience in London’s high specification interior design business sector. Experience in stone is not essential, however experience of selling to interior designers and architects with a background in one of the many interior sectors is important-interior design practice, high-end kitchen / bathroom design, architecture, furniture or similar quality interior design environment.
As the manager of the London branch, you will be tasked with providing leadership and direction for at least one other team member, and developing efficient processes and implementing strategies for the growth of the London division. This will involve travel to client sites across the South East.
Reporting to the Managing Director, your duties will include:
- developing and implementing medium and long term strategy for sales.
- managing the day to day running of the London operations
- creating, implementing and maintaining quality control and efficiency indicators/procedures
- managing design and procurement, manufacturing, onsite, repairs, client communication
To be considered for this position, you must have sales experience and a track record in project management.
As a senior design and sales consultant, you should also be well presented and be an excellent communicator with the ability to manage individuals.
In addition, a good level of computer literacy, basic AutoCAD is preferred but not essential and hold a driving license.
